This action establishes a clear precedent: while the machine does not govern in a traditional sense, it will act to preserve systemic equilibrium when instability threatens the broader system.

In parallel, work on the Ring advances. Designed by the machine and constructed using materials and technologies derived from Mars, the structure begins to produce measurable results. While its function is not yet fully understood, its development represents a step toward a broader capability whose purpose remains just out of reach.
